The Wells Goodfellow GCC Advisory Group is meant to be a group of Wells Goodfellow area residents, or those with a strong connection to the neighborhood, who advise on the continued improvement of Green City Coalition green spaces in Wells Goodfellow and are involved in activating them as a neighborhood asset. For 2025, this means you giving resident perspective on how we can improve the vacant lots that have been converted to green spaces with site enhancements like signage, benches, pathways, and art, and what we is important to you regarding their overall maintenance and stewardship. It could also mean how we can make these lots into beautiful, useful places for you to enjoy and have fun in! To begin, the group will not have the formal structure of a steering committee, but instead will meet as needed through the spring, summer and fall of 2025, at which point the group will decide if they want to create a more formal structure.
At each meeting, for everyone who RSVP's in advance a meal will be provided, and a gift card will be offered as compensation for member's time.
To apply to be a member of the Wells Goodfellow Advisory Group, please fill out the application below. Applications will be held open until March 31, 2025. The meeting will be held in late April/early May. Anyone who applies will receive a follow up email with next steps, but not all who apply will be selected.
